Gaming Philosophy:

League is run under the Modified format. See op.pokemon-tcg.com for official game rules and learn-to-play demos. However, while we do follow the official rules, we will continue to allow new and beginning members to use cards from any set. At League we believe it is more important to play and have fun than make your parents buy you all new cards :)

Battle Road Brings Changes to League!:

New!! Once you have completed the challenge and earned your badge for each season, you will be given a voucher for a special prize. YOU MUST HAVE A MY POKEMON ACCOUNT IN ORDER TO REDEEM THIS PRIZE. If you are under 13 your parents MUST complete the consent portion of your registration in order for you to obtain a My Pokemon account. Consent forms are also available on the Pokemon website

Modified Format::
1. Allowable cards: cards from Ex Deoxys and sets printed after that, Ex Trainer Kit cards, POP Series cards, and blackstar promos number 033 and up
2. Four (4) of any card other than basic energies

Deck Construction:

For beginners we highly recommend sticking to one or two different types of pokemon in your first deck.
We recommend beginners choose 15 Trainers, 20 Pokémon, and 25 Energies in a Deck.
For those using older cards, Ancient Mew and Birthday Pikachu are always banned from play.

• We meet every Tuesday from 6:30 to 8:30 pm
• $3.00 per week to Play and/or Trade
• Each Battle season lasts 5 weeks during which you collect points to gain promo packs and badges.
• You can't play any player twice in a row. This encourages everyone to get a turn at playing.
• There is at least one Door Prize each League Night. The number of door prizes is determined by the number of people.

  • 20 points for a win
  • Each time you earn 150 points you will be rewarded with a POP Series Booster
